These multiplexers has been designed to enable easy flow mapping studies, in case of stationary velocity field or when only mean values of the velocity field are requested. For non stationary velocity field, our UDVF probes are recommended. These multiplexers allow to measure velocity profiles issue from different probes one after the other. Up to 10 different transducers can be connected.

The external multiplexer unit is controlled directly by the velocimeter through its RS232 serial port by means of a software module which is included in the WDOP software of the DOP2000. Its output is connect to the probe input of the DOP2000. The internal multiplexer is controlled inside the DOP2000 and no other connections are required; it should be ordered at the same time as the instrument.

During the acquisition process, the multiplexer switches from one channel to the other after the measurement of a user's defined number of data profiles. Both acquisition mode, the continuous mode and the trigger mode, can be used when acquiring data with the multiplexer.

As all the 10 channels are independent, each channel can accept different parameters settings, such as different emitting frequencies, PRF, number of channels, TGC, etc..

These accessories increase the application field and the flexibility of our the instrument.
