After download, unzip all the files to a floppy disk, CD or USB key and place it in your DOP. Then, run "INSTALL.EXE".

The same software and procedure can be used to upgrade the simulation software.

To check it, restart your DOP, and watch the screen when the BIOS version appears :

Download the Year 2000 driver for DOP1000

The BIOS of the DOP1000 Ultrasonic Doppler velocimeter is unfortunately not compatible with the year 2000. This means that after the last day of year 1999 (31 December 1999) the system date will return to 1 January 1980.

In order to fix this problem and allow the DOP1000 to record the correct date a device driver, named YEAR2000.SYS have to be installed in the CONFIG.SYS.

To install this device driver:

• Download the device driver YEAR2000.ZIP
• Unzip the downloaded file YEAR2000.SYS in the root directory of the DOP1000
• Add the following command to the first line of the CONFIG.SYS file: DEVICE=C:\YEAR2000.SYS
  

After installation of this device driver the DOP1000 should be considered YEAR 2000 OK.
